Duties and

Responsibilities:
1. Plan and implement OHS policies and programs 2. Review existing policies and procedures 3. Hazard identification and inspections 4. Complete worker orientations and training 5. Conduct risk assessment 6. Enforce preventative measures 7. Critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills 8. Ability to teach others the established safety standards 9. Strong verbal and written communication skills 10. Computer literacy skills and comfort with various types of technology used in the industry 11. Ability to work well as a team and interact with different groups of people 12. Maintain documentation of the company's safety procedures, accidents and related events

Requirements:

- Able to communicate in English effectively
- Ability to work alone
- Must have a car to drive in and around the GTA area
- Interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish effective professional relationships with employees and project managers




- Proficient in computer skills (Microsoft word / excel)
- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills Team player
- Positive time-management skills
- WAH working at heights training (Training available) *Bonus (non requirements)*
- Construction experience
- Safety experience (JHSC / OHSA)
- WSIB / Claims management
- Hazard assessment / identifying hazards
- Working at heights training / whmis / worker awareness in 4 steps No experience necessary, however communication is the key, working with safety team members and site safety staff. Willing to train Select personnel Pay: $60,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
