Job Overview The ECA Supply is responsible for supporting the daily care, supervision, and development of children in a licensed childcare setting. The Supply ECA assists Registered Early Childhood Educators (RECEs) and other childcare staff in providing a safe, nurturing, inclusive, and stimulating environment that promotes children's physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development. The Supply ECA provides coverage for staff absences, breaks, vacations, and other staffing needs while maintaining the center's policies, procedures, and standards of care.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist RECE's with classroom activities, including teaching support and age-appropriate learning tasks.
- Help children understand instructions, stay engaged, and participate confidently in individual and group work.
- Provide attentive support to pupils with varied learning and accessibility needs, following guidance from teaching staff.
- Prepare learning materials, support classroom routines, and share relevant observations with colleagues.

- Early Childhood Assistant training or relevant experience working with children is preferred.
- Knowledge of child development and appropriate childcare practices.
- Current Standard First Aid and CPR certification, as required by the employer.
- Vulnerable Sector Check and other required screening documentation.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Strong communication,
