Now Hiring: Red Seal Automotive Service Technician Mr. Lube + Tires — Port Coquitlam, BC Pay: $40–$42 per hour, based on experience Mr. Lube + Tires is hiring an experienced Red Seal Automotive Service Technician to join our Port Coquitlam team. This role focuses on mechanical diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance across a variety of vehicle makes and models. We’re looking for a reliable technician who takes pride in quality workmanship and providing excellent service. Job Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair vehicle mechanical issues.
- Perform brake, suspension, steering, and other mechanical repairs.
- Replace spark plugs and ignition components and perform scheduled maintenance.
- Use diagnostic scan tools and testing equipment to identify vehicle faults.
- Complete vehicle inspections and document findings and repair recommendations.
- Identify required parts and provide accurate labour estimates.
- Verify completed repairs and perform road tests when necessary.




- Communicate job progress and additional repair needs to the service team.
- Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow shop safety procedures. Requirements
- Red Seal Automotive Service Technician certification is required.
- Previous professional automotive repair and diagnostic experience is required.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle mechanical systems and repair procedures.
- Experience using diagnostic tools and automotive shop equipment.
- Valid driver’s licence.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safe, quality repairs.
- Good communication, teamwork, and time-management skills.
