About the Job The General Labour team member is a versatile, cross-trained contributor responsible for supporting all areas of warehouse and production operations. Team members may be assigned to inventory management, order picking, floral production, Wetpack operations, hardgoods processing, shipping, receiving, material handling, and other warehouse functions as business needs require. This role is essential to maintaining efficient operations, product quality, and customer satisfaction. Successful candidates are adaptable, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where daily responsibilities may vary across departments. Responsibilities Production Operations
- Assemble bouquets and other floral products according to company quality standards and production specifications.
- Sort, inspect, prepare, and process flowers, containers, and production materials.
- Set up and replenish production workstations with required materials and supplies.
- Support Wetpack, hardgoods, and floral production activities as assigned.
- Maintain production efficiency while ensuring product quality standards are met. Order Fulfillment
- Pick, pack,



and prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Verify product quantities and order details before shipment.
- Label, stage, and organize completed orders for distribution.
- Follow established procedures to ensure inventory accuracy and order integrity. Warehouse Operations
- Receive, unload, and organize incoming shipments.
- Move inventory, materials, and products throughout the facility.
- Assist with inventory counts, stock rotation, and inventory control activities.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe warehouse and cooler environments.
- Support shipping and receiving activities as required. Quality & Safety
- Adhere to all company health, safety, and food handling procedures.
- Report quality concerns, equipment issues, or safety hazards promptly.
- Maintain clean work areas and follow established housekeeping standards.
- Utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when required. Team Support
- Work across multiple departments based on operational requirements.
- Assist teammates in meeting daily production and fulfillment targets.
- Learn and perform various warehouse and production functions through cross-training.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned. Competencies

- Adaptability & Technical Proficiency – Responds effectively to changing floral inventory, seasonal demands, and production schedules. Shows proficiency in handling floral materials and tools and adapts quickly to new bouquet designs or workflow adjustments while maintaining quality and efficiency.
- Problem Solving & Decision Making – Uses sound judgment to identify and replace defective floral materials, organize workstations for optimal flow, and resolve minor production issues independently. Maintains focus on quality and productivity while balancing speed and precision in a dynamic warehouse setting. Requirements
- Weekend and weekday evening availability is required for this role.
- Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 8 hours) and perform repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Capable of lifting and reaching boxes and buckets up to 40 lbs and pushing carts filled with product.
- Comfortable working in a cold warehouse environment (0°C to 10°C) with exposure to water and floral materials. PPE will be provided.
