Job Description
Insight Global is hiring two Business Analysts to support a transformation program migrating dashboards and analytics capabilities from Click
View to Microsoft Fabric.
The BAs will work closely with an external systems integrator during the current phase, learn the delivery approach, and then help drive requirements, design support, and planning for subsequent phases of the migration.
This role is predominantly remote, with occasional in-office presence if needed for key milestones.
Key Objectives
- Support the end-to-end migration of dashboards and analytics assets from Click
View to Microsoft Fabric.
- Partner with an external integrator to understand their methodology and apply it across remaining migration work.
- Work with internal business stakeholders and IT owners to capture requirements and support delivery through to implementation.
Responsibilities
- Elicit, analyze, and document business and data requirements for dashboards, reporting, and analytics use cases.
- Collaborate with integrator teams and internal stakeholders across data engineering, data modeling, infrastructure, and Power BI/dashboard development workstreams.
- Translate business needs into clear functional requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and supporting documentation.
- Support requirements and design workshops; help clarify scope, priorities, and dependencies.
- Contribute to planning for upcoming phases (e.g., roadmap inputs, sequencing, identifying risks/impacts).
- Assist with validation activities such as UAT planning/support and ensuring solutions meet business expectations.
- Communicate status, risks, issues, and decisions across stakeholders.
Skills and Requirements
- Intermediate-level BA experience with 6+ years of experience specifically in data & analytics initiatives.
- Proven experience working as a BA across the data/analytics lifecycle (requirements through delivery).
- Strong understanding of:
- Data modeling concepts (not necessarily hands-on modeling, but able to discuss and validate)
- ETL/ELT concepts, transformations, and data migration approaches
- Data products and modern analytics platform implementations
- Experience working in environments involving technologies such as Microsoft Fabric and/or similar analytics platforms; cloud exposure (e.g., AWS) is highly relevant.
- Solid stakeholder management and communication skills, including working with external partners/integrators.
- Ability to operate with minimal supervision and manage ambiguity in a transformation context.
Exposure to AI-related initiatives or analytics work that supports AI objectives.
- Experience supporting dashboard/reporting development on Power BI (requirements, validation, rollout).
- Prior experience on platform modernization/migration programs (not required to be Click
View-to-Fabric specifically).
