**Job description**
**SENIOR CIVIL ENGINEER**
**Location: Courtenay, BC**
TRS Staffing Solutions is recruiting on behalf of one of our clients for a Senior Civil Engineer to join a growing municipal infrastructure team.

This is an excellent prospect for an experienced professional to lead the planning, design, and delivery of municipal infrastructure projects while supporting client relationships, business growth, and team development.
**Key Responsibilities:**
• Lead municipal infrastructure projects from planning through construction.
• Manage projects involving roads, transportation, water, wastewater, stormwater, and land development servicing.
• Prepare and review engineering designs, reports, specifications, and contract documents.
• Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, and client communications.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams and stakeholders.
• Support business development and proposal activities.
• Mentor junior and intermediate engineers and technical staff.
• Participate in construction administration, site reviews, and contractor coordination.
**Qualifications:**




• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
• P.

Eng. designation or eligibility for registration in British Columbia.
• 10+ years of municipal engineering and infrastructure design experience.
• Strong knowledge of roads, water distribution, wastewater collection, stormwater management, and municipal servicing.
• Proven project management and client relationship experience.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and mentoring skills.
• Experience with Civil 3D is considered an asset.
