Job Description
s a Quality Engineering Lead, you will provide senior technical and program-level Quality Engineering leadership for complex, business-critical initiatives.

Your initial assignment will be to lead Quality Engineering across Vancity's Commercial Banking Transformation program, followed by other strategic initiatives across Vancity.

You will define and execute an integrated Quality Engineering approach across multiple workstreams, platforms, vendors, and delivery teams.

You will ensure that quality, reliability, security, accessibility, performance, and production readiness are built into delivery and supported by clear, traceable evidence.

This is a senior, hands-on engineering leadership role rather than a traditional Quality Assurance Lead or test coordination position.

You will lead Quality Engineers and workstream QE leads in a dotted-line capacity while contributing directly to automation strategy, API validation, technical problem-solving, quality governance, risk management, and delivery execution.

You must be comfortable moving between executive-level program reporting and detailed engineering discussions while bringing internal teams, vendors, and business stakeholders together around a consistent and accountable approach to quality.

Skills and Requirements
- Experience interacting and reporting to high level leadership
- KPI management
- Testing planning and creation at program level




- Strong understanding of automation framework architecture
- Experience utilizing AI for streamlining processes and creating efficiencies in D2D work
- Vendor management experience
- Strong API testing experience
