Job Overview The Collections Officer supports timely, accurate account resolution through explicit communication, careful financial record keeping, and thoughtful follow-up. This role combines accounts receivable activities with account analysis and reconciliation, helping debtors understand outstanding balances and supporting reliable financial operations. This is not a customer service job. Responsibilities
- Review accounts, analyze balances, identify discrepancies,.
- Contact debtors with professional phone etiquette, explain account details, discuss payment options, and use negotiation and communication skills to support resolution.
- Process accurate data entry and maintain organized records of collection activity, account updates, and follow-up actions.




- Coordinate relevant account information with colleagues and support related accounting and accounts payable processes as needed. Qualifications Required: accounts receivable, accounting software, data entry, math, and account analysis skills, with the ability to review records accurately and communicate professionally with debtors and clients. Preferred: Experience in collections or financial services, along with strengths in negotiation, and account reconciliation.
