Overview The calf feeder supports the daily care and feeding of calves, helping maintain a clean, orderly workplace and consistent routines. This hands-on role involves working around farm equipment and completing physical tasks as part of the farm team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and distribute feed according to established routines, observing calves and reporting changes in appetite or condition.
- Clean feeding equipment and work areas, keeping supplies organized and following farm hygiene practices.
- Move feed and supplies, including heavy lifting, and use farm machinery carefully for assigned tasks.
- Your impact: Consistent feeding and timely observations help colleagues provide attentive care to calves. Experience Required: Practical ability to handle heavy lifting and carry out hands-on feeding and cleaning tasks safely and reliably. Mechanical knowledge supports careful use of equipment and recognition of basic issues. Preferred: Familiarity with farm machinery and related farm or animal-care experience can help you contribute confidently to daily routines and work effectively with the team.
