This permanent, part time Health Care Aide assignment serves residents in Long Term Care Dementia 2nd Floor. You will provide resident-centered support within your scope of practice, following care plans, policies, and procedures. The work emphasizes daily living assistance, dignity, privacy, independence, documentation, and holistic observation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist residents with activities of daily living
- Promote resident choices, dignity, privacy, and independence
- Document and report care observations to nursing staff
- Follow safety, emergency, and occupational health procedures




- Work cooperatively with interdisciplinary team members

Requirements:

- Grade 10 education and approved Health Care Aide certificate
- Registration with the CLHA in Alberta
- Effective English speaking, reading, writing, and comprehension
- Excellent observation, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in physically and mentally demanding conditions
