Provide geriatric consultation in Comox with Island Health, supporting outpatient and inpatient services through multidisciplinary clinical practice.

The Vancouver Island Health Authority Division of Geriatrics seeks a part time Geriatrician based in Comox. You will support a robust service alongside 15 Geriatricians and Care of the Elderly physicians. The work includes specialized geriatric services, nurse practitioners, and clinical teaching.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide outpatient geriatric consultations
- Provide inpatient geriatric consultations
- Rotate through select specialized geriatric services
- Work with dedicated multidisciplinary teams
- Support undergraduate and postgraduate clinical teaching

Requirements:

- FRCPC qualification or Care of the Elderly qualification
- Ability to provide clinical support within geriatrics
- Capacity to work with multidisciplinary teams
- Availability for a part time appointment
- Willingness to work in Comox
