Lead Transaction Monitoring model management for TD in Toronto, applying advanced statistics and AI/ML to strengthen financial crime detection. Guide end-to-end lifecycle governance within Data & Analytics.

As Associate Vice President, you will lead development, tuning, optimization, monitoring, testing, documentation, and enhancements for Transaction Monitoring models. You will shape capability strategy, address coverage gaps, and align model performance with enterprise risk standards, regulatory requirements, and emerging AML/ATF typologies. The mandate spans multiple lines of business and technology projects.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead advanced Transaction Monitoring model development and lifecycle management
- Own framework, scenario selection methodology, and coverage assessment process
- Recommend customer segmentation and monitoring system optimization approaches




- Benchmark TD capabilities and advance strategic Transaction Monitoring maturity
- Drive modelling innovation through advanced statistics and AI/ML

Requirements:

- Undergraduate degree required; advanced degree preferred
- 15+ years of relevant AML, risk modelling, or management experience
- Exposure to Actimize, SAS, Oracle, and Transaction Monitoring systems
- Knowledge of AML regulations, risks, controls, and financial crime typologies
- Solid analytical, project leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
