Satellite ground systems engineering at MDA demands RF integration and systems verification across connected space and terrestrial infrastructures. Support work spans end-to-end operations. As a Ground Segment Systems Engineer, you will define, integrate, verify, commission, and support satellite ground systems. The work connects satellite communications, RF ground stations, terrestrial networks, cloud services, and user systems. You will contribute to architectures, requirements, interfaces, verification strategies, and operational continuity.Key Responsibilities:
Define architectures, CONOPS, requirements, interfaces, and verification strategiesIntegrate satellite, SOCC, NOC, ground, network, cloud, and user systemsPerform RF link analysis and RF-to-cloud trade-off studiesDevelop integration plans, test procedures,
and acceptance criteriaSupport commissioning, in-orbit testing, operations, and upgradesRequirements:
Bachelor's degree and over five years of relevant experienceExperience designing, integrating, verifying, commissioning, or operating ground systemsKnowledge of RF technologies, link analysis, testing, and troubleshootingMastery of systems engineering, requirements, architecture, and verificationExcellent written and oral communication skills in EnglishApply satellite systems engineering, RF analysis, and verification expertise across MDA ground segment integration and operations.
