Lead financial reporting at BluMetric’s Ottawa headquarters as Controller, overseeing accounting operations, consolidation, payroll, and internal controls.

Reporting to the Vice President, Director – Finance, this full time Controller leads day-to-day accounting operations and financial close. The position prepares consolidated statements, manages audits, and supports a team. BluMetric values process improvement, accurate reporting, and effective financial controls across its finance function.

Key Responsibilities:

- Own month-end, quarter-end, and year-end accounting close processes
- Prepare and review consolidated financial statements
- Lead audit activities and external audit coordination
- Oversee payroll, accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger




- Drive finance systems, reporting, and process improvements

Requirements:

- CPA designation in good standing
- Minimum six years of progressively responsible accounting experience
- Experience preparing statements, payroll, reporting, and financial analysis
- Leadership experience supervising, mentoring, and developing teams
- Advanced Microsoft Office and accounting software proficiency
