Lead health, safety, and environmental programs at Champion Petfoods’ state-of-the-art facility in Acheson, Alberta, with manufacturing safety leadership experience.

As Health, Safety, and Environmental Manager, you will work with production and management to embed a strong safety culture. You will coach employees, provide day-to-day guidance, and support compliance across Health and Safety, Food Safety, and Workplace. This role supports Champion Petfoods and its ORIJEN® and ACANA® brands.

Key Responsibilities:

- Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Food Safety, and Environment practices
- Lead the Occupational Joint Health, Safety, and Environment Committee
- Develop safety training materials and deliver employee training




- Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions
- Monitor safety programs, documentation, and Workers’ Compensation processes

Requirements:

- Occupational Health and Safety certificate or diploma preferred
- CRST or CRSP designation preferred
- Five-plus years leading safety in manufacturing
- Experience interpreting and implementing safety regulations and standards
- Strong communication, negotiation, coaching, and analytical skills
