As an Intermediate Claims Adjuster, Accident Benefits, you will oversee claims across personal and commercial lines. The position involves investigation, evaluation, negotiation, and timely resolution of moderate to high complexity claims. You will also manage litigation and coordinate external adjusters and vendors.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee external adjusters handling outsourced claims
- Investigate, evaluate, and negotiate complex claims
- Manage challenging coverage claims professionally
- Maintain accurate reserves under corporate protocols
- Participate in mediations, pre-trials, and settlement conferences

Requirements:

- Post-secondary education or equivalent experience
- CIP designation or active progress toward designation
- Three to five years handling casualty claims
- Knowledge of policy wording, fraud, and coverage issues
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
