Dairy Farmers of Nova Scotia seeks a seasoned, approachable leader reporting to its elected Board. You will guide day-to-day operations, strategy, financial management and regulatory administration. The mandate includes strengthening producer relationships, developing six full time employees and advancing processing capacity, milk quality and animal care.

Key Responsibilities:

- Translate Board strategy into operational plans, reporting and measurable results
- Lead budgeting, financial reporting, controls, revenues and expenses
- Coach staff and oversee performance, compensation and human resources
- Oversee regulatory administration, enforcement and legislative compliance




- Build relationships with producers, government, processors and regulators

Requirements:

- Five years of progressive leadership with stakeholder accountability
- Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Economics or related studies
- Experience working with an elected Board in regulated environments
- Strong budgeting, financial management and business planning skills
- Approachable, trustworthy communication and team development abilities
