About us

Haywood Concrete Products Ltd. (HCP) manufactures precast concrete. Together with our affiliated companies and branches, we operate offices and manufacturing facilities in Haywood, Winnipeg, and Calgary. We are a growing, hands-on company with a strong team and a reputation for quality. As we grow, we're looking for a finance leader who wants to build things properly and be part of the next chapter.

What you'll do

- Run month-end close and prepare accurate, timely financial statements
- Manage AP, AR, payroll, and GST/PST remittances
- Build budgets, cash flow forecasts, and job and product costing
- Track inventory and production costs, and report on margins
- Support year-end and tax work with our external accountants
- Help select and implement our next accounting system (we currently use Sage 50, with an upgrade planned)
- Strengthen processes and internal controls across all three offices




- Provide clear financial insight to ownership and operations leaders

What you bring

- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in manufacturing, construction, or distribution
- Working knowledge of Sage 50 or similar accounting systems
- Strong grasp of inventory and cost accounting
- Comfort working across multiple locations
- Transparent communication with owners and non-finance colleagues
- A practical, problem-solving mindset

Nice to have

- Experience with an accounting system or ERP migration
- Background in precast, concrete, or industrial manufacturing
