Lead Child Intervention teams in Grande Prairie through strategic leadership, delegated authority, and culturally responsive service delivery across Northern Alberta.

As Manager, Child Intervention, you will report to the Director and guide multidisciplinary teams delivering critical intervention services. The work includes coaching staff, supporting frontline practice, and partnering with Indigenous communities, service providers, and stakeholders. Services must align with legislation, ministry priorities, provincial standards, and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide strategic leadership through coaching, mentoring, and staff support
- Lead services under the Child, Youth and Family Enhancement Act
- Implement continuous improvement and organizational change initiatives




- Build culturally responsive partnerships with Indigenous communities and agencies
- Oversee quality, operations, resources, and emerging issues

Requirements:

- Bachelor of Social Work and four years related experience preferred
- Supervisory experience in a child protection setting
- Current Alberta College of Social Workers registration
- Current or previous delegation under Alberta child welfare legislation
- Class 5 licence, reliable vehicle, and regional travel ability
