The Therapeutic Recreation Department seeks contract faculty for THRT 1204 Principles and Practices of Health. You will instruct students, facilitate learning, evaluate progress, and support learner-centred education. The appointment runs from January through April 2027.

Key Responsibilities:

- Teach THRT 1204 Principles and Practices of Health
- Instruct students in therapeutic recreation course content
- Facilitate learning and evaluate student progress
- Plan and manage learning activities and resources
- Provide academic advice and collaborate with department members

Requirements:

- Master’s degree in Therapeutic Recreation or related field
- Major credential in Therapeutic Recreation, Recreation, or Leisure Studies
- Knowledge of health theories and behavior change models
- Post-secondary teaching experience and cutting-edge teaching commitment
- Online learning platform skills and excellent communication
