Role: Technical Writer

Duration: 6-12+ months

Rate: CAD $50-60/hr (7.25 billable hours)

Security Clearance: Secret or Top-Secret Clearance required

We are seeking a seasoned Technical Writer for one of our public sector clients.

Responsibilities:

- University undergraduate degree or diploma or Ten (10) years of progressive experience in IT.
- A minimum of ten years’ experience understanding of IT infrastructure terminology as it is used in documentation, specifically with those used with networking (LAN/WAN), servers and telephony systems.
- A minimum of ten years’ experience and advanced skills in producing Word, Excel and Visio Pro documents. (ie. MS Office Suite, Adobe, Sharepoint, etc).
- A minimum of ten years’ experience and capacity to produce and review technical documents.
- A minimum of ten years’ experience creating online help files or systems, training packages, etc.
- A minimum of ten years’ experience knowledge with software development practices and lifecycle.
- A minimum of ten years’ experience knowledge with ITSG33 or equivalent documented standards.
