Omineca seeks skilled Welders for mining, pulp mill, sawmill, and industrial projects. The work requires stick welding, blueprint interpretation, mechanical aptitude, and industrial construction experience. Previous sawmill, pulp mill, or mining experience is required for assignments at customer facilities. Candidates must meet client access and safety requirements, including pre-access drug and alcohol testing where required.

Key Responsibilities:

- Travel to customer worksites for shutdown and maintenance projects
- Perform stick welding on heavy equipment and structures
- Interpret blueprints, schematics,



and technical drawings
- Inspect, maintain, and repair industrial machinery
- Follow safety protocols in safety-sensitive environments

Requirements:

- Five years of heavy industrial construction experience
- Red Seal Welding certification preferred
- CWB SMAW certification required for Welders
- Previous mining, pulp mill, or sawmill experience
- Ability to meet client site access requirements
