Imperial seeks a Principal of Mine Tailings & Closure as its senior technical subject matter expert. This position guides tailings, water management, reclamation, and closure across the asset lifecycle. You will influence strategic decisions, provide technical governance, mentor professionals, and represent Imperial with regulators and industry organizations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead complex multidisciplinary planning, design, and execution activities
- Guide long-range tailings, water management, reclamation, and closure strategies

- Review decisions, designs, standards, and governance frameworks

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Geoscience
- Qualified Engineer registration or Alberta registration eligibility
- 18+ years’ progressively responsible experience in related disciplines
- Expertise in tailings, water, reclamation, closure, or mining
- Open pit mining and regulatory agency experience
