Health PEI seeks a Registered Nurse for a permanent 40% PEINU position. This supervisor coordinates patient flow, admissions, transfers, staffing, and hospital services outside daytime business hours. The position provides clinical leadership, supports nursing units, and maintains professional competency across changing care requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Coordinate care delivery, patient flow, admissions, and transfers
- Assign staffing resources and float nursing staff appropriately
- Provide leadership during emergencies, fires, and code situations
- Support nursing units with clinical problem solving




- Implement infection prevention and routine precautions

Requirements:

- Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing with five-plus years’ leadership experience
- Diploma and nursing leadership or healthcare management program considered
- Extensive complex care coordination and patient flow experience
- Knowledge of Prince Edward Island’s healthcare system and legislation
- Active or eligible Prince Edward Island nursing registration
