Provide patient-focused nursing care in Osler’s Cardiology Unit, using acute medicine experience and robust clinical assessment skills. Work days or nights on 12-hour shifts, including weekends and statutory holidays.

The Registered Nurse delivers safe care as part of an inter-professional health care team. This position requires nursing-process expertise, cardiac experience, rhythm interpretation, and patient and family health teaching. Practice follows William Osler Health System expectations, College of Nurses standards, and legislative requirements. Osler serves communities across Brampton, Etobicoke, and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
- Provide compassionate, patient-centred care in diverse environments




- Recognize health-status changes and respond to emergencies
- Apply infection prevention and control measures
- Deliver discharge instructions and health teaching

Requirements:

- Minimum two years of acute medicine experience
- Current College of Nurses of Ontario registration
- Coronary Care 1 and BCLS required
- Recent 12-lead ECG or rhythm interpretation experience
- Pass required arrhythmia and Cardiology Challenge examinations
