Lead month-end close, financial reporting, and automation as Controller at Horizon Contracting Group, primarily office-based with possible hybrid flexibility.

Reporting to the VP of Finance, this experienced Controller owns close activities across a growing, multi-entity organization. You will combine technical accounting expertise with financial analysis, systems curiosity, and process improvement. The position supports strategic decision-making through accurate reporting and operational insight.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead monthly and quarterly close across multiple entities
- Prepare financial statements, management reports, and variance analysis
- Execute consolidation entries and maintain reporting accuracy
- Support budgeting, forecasting,



and weekly cash flow forecasting
- Lead finance automation and AI initiatives through implementation

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Four to six years progressive accounting experience
- Solid understanding of GAAP and ASPE standards
- Advanced Excel skills and financial modelling experience
- Construction or project-based accounting experience preferred
