As Mechanical Design Team Lead, you supervise mechanical engineers and CAD designers within OSI’s Hardware Engineering department. You plan work, direct technical output, and develop team members while remaining hands-on in design and review. Your work supports compliant, manufacturable, reliable, and maintainable designs.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and supervise mechanical engineers and CAD designers
- Plan, estimate, assign, and schedule team work
- Review designs, models, drawings, and GD&T;
- Resolve or escalate technical and schedule risks
- Mentor staff and support performance development

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Seven-plus years of mechanical design experience
- Two-plus years leading teams or serving as technical lead
- Advanced SolidWorks and GD&T; knowledge
- NATO Secret clearance eligibility and controlled goods access
