The Medical Director provides leadership for high-quality, patient-centered MAID services across Manitoba. The position requires experience as a MAID assessor and provider, strong communication, and inter-qualified collaboration. Administrative, end-of-life care, medical education, and palliative care experience are assets.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide clinical oversight for MAID services across Manitoba
- Provide administrative oversight for patient-centered MAID services
- Provide educational oversight related to MAID practice
- Support healthcare policy and regulatory requirements




- Participate in ongoing leadership and management training

Requirements:

- Medical residency completed at an accredited educational institution
- Active or previous clinical practice as a MAID assessor and provider
- Full CPSM licensure, or eligibility for licensure
- Medical staff appointment at Shared Health, or eligibility
- CMPA or equivalent medical liability insurance coverage
