Ontario Transit Group seeks a Site Geologist for the South Civil package, integrating geological expertise into major urban infrastructure construction. You will assess bedrock, interpret ground conditions, and collaborate with geotechnical engineers, designers, project managers, and contractors. The schedule includes days, nights, and weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct geological face mapping in soil and bedrock
- Evaluate joints, ground conditions, and support classes
- Recommend rock support for exposed rock faces
- Support NATM/SEM tunneling and Permit-to-Tunnel meetings




- Prepare reports describing risks and construction implications

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Geology or related discipline
- Current Ontario P.Geo. registration
- Experience assessing bedrock during major infrastructure construction
- Structural geology and rock support expertise
- Open-cut excavation and RMR, GSI, Q-System experience
