Lead procurement strategy at NFI Parts™ through supplier negotiations, team coaching, and category performance management. Travel is required for this position.

The Category Supervisor supports Buyers or coordinators while executing category strategies for cost, service, and quality objectives. This position manages supplier relationships, leads assigned procurement activities, and drives continuous improvement. It also supports supply chain efficiency across customer service, inventory planning, operations, manufacturing, Traffic & Customs, and warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise Buyers and manage performance, development, and workload distribution
- Negotiate long-term contracts and pursue competitive supplier costs
- Execute category strategies and lead assigned procurement activities
- Monitor KPIs,



supplier scorecards, and performance improvements
- Present quarterly category reviews and support annual planning

Requirements:

- Post-secondary education in Business or Supply Chain management
- Three to five years in supply chain, procurement, or strategic sourcing
- Some leadership experience with solid organizational and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Intermediate to advanced Excel and Microsoft Office proficiency
