The Town of Waldheim seeks a practical Recreation Facilities Manager reporting to the Chief Administrative Officer. You will oversee assigned facilities, seasonal services, bookings and maintenance while coordinating municipal staff, contractors, volunteers and user groups. Current assignments include the golf course, clubhouse, campground, ball diamonds, grounds and community halls, with possible arena support.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan daily and seasonal facility operations, schedules and inspections
- Coordinate bookings, equipment setup, events and user access
- Oversee maintenance, repairs, grounds care and seasonal services
- Prepare budget recommendations and monitor revenues,



costs and contracts
- Respond to hazards, complaints, emergencies and service interruptions

Requirements:

- Relevant facility operations, maintenance, recreation or municipal experience
- Post-secondary education or related recognized training preferred
- Supervisory, contractor, seasonal, project or budget experience preferred
- Knowledge of safety, risk management and customer service
- Valid Class 5 licence and First Aid and CPR certification
