Although titled Assistant Kitchen Manager, this position leads Housekeeping and Laundry operations reporting to the Chief Steward. You will oversee recruitment, colleague relationships, departmental expenses, capital projects, and service standards. The role supports safe, productive, and environmentally responsible hotel operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage Housekeeping and Laundry departments within budget guidelines
- Oversee recruitment, succession planning, and colleague relationships
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and Fairmont standards




- Coordinate preventative maintenance with the Director, Engineering
- Implement environmental initiatives and continuous improvements

Requirements:

- Two to three years of senior housekeeping leadership experience
- Leadership, delegation, and team development skills
- Ability to lead 80 to 100 colleagues
- Strong organizational, administrative, and communication skills
- Knowledge of Property Manager System or Opera
