Registered Nurse with mental health expertise wanted in Brampton for CMHA Peel Dufferin’s full-time, in office Assertive Community Treatment team.

This permanent nursing position supports clients’ mental and physical health needs through stepped care. You will develop comprehensive care plans, coordinate medical and psychiatric treatment, and collaborate with multidisciplinary professionals to improve quality of life and health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Complete nursing assessments, medication reviews, and vital-sign monitoring
- Develop crisis plans, discharge plans, and nursing care requirements
- Coordinate medical assessments, referrals, and psychiatric treatment
- Manage caseloads, reassessments, risk levels, and reviews
- Link clients with community resources supporting recovery goals

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is required
- Current Ontario Registered Nurse registration
- Three to five years’ acute mental health experience
- Current CPR and First Aid certification
- Valid driver’s license and insured automobile access
