This supervisor oversees Power, Recovery, and Recaust areas while leading hourly employees. The work emphasizes safety, operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and employee development. You will coordinate operations, maintenance, engineering, scheduling, emergency response, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

- Direct safe, continuous, and efficient Power and Recovery Plant operations
- Lead emergency response as Incident Commander when required
- Coordinate crew schedules, staffing, training, and development
- Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions




- Monitor equipment integrity and coordinate off-shift maintenance activities

Requirements:

- Valid Second Class Power Engineer Certificate of Competency or higher
- At least five years of pulp mill operations experience
- At least two years of supervisory experience, preferably unionized
- Knowledge of boilers, turbines, steam systems, recaust, and lime kilns
- Strong communication, decision-making, and protected coaching abilities
