Personal Lines Account Manager

As a Personal Lines Account Manager, you are a trusted advisor, who owns and supports client relationships and understands their home and Auto needs to provide effective insurance solutions.

What You Bring

Minimum of 1 year of experience in the insurance industry

Current RIBO License in good standing

Proven track record of maintaining and retaining clients

Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills

Knowledge of Applied Systems EPIC Broker Management System is preferred

Excellent communication skills and bringing a positive and energetic attitude

Proficiency in cross-selling and upselling

Experience in negotiating renewals with carriers CAIB or other insurance related certifications are encouraged

What You'll Do

- Act as the primary point of contact for an assigned book of business, building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with clients and insurers.
- Provide expert advice on insurance risks by identifying client exposures, assessing coverage needs, and developing tailored insurance solutions.
- Strategically manage policy renewals, including reviewing coverage, marketing accounts, negotiating with insurers, and optimizing terms and pricing.
- Prepare and monitor insurance submissions, proposals, and summaries of insurance, with support from Technical Assistants on binders, certificates, billing, and related documentation.
- Negotiate with insurers in partnership with Producers to secure appropriate coverage, competitive terms, and solutions aligned with client needs.
- Manage premium collection in accordance with company standards, policies, and established timelines.
- Drive portfolio growth by identifying and pursuing cross-selling, upselling, referral, and new business opportunities within existing and prospective accounts.
- Partner with Producers to deliver integrated,



client-focused insurance solutions and ensure effective account management.
- Mentor and develop Junior Account Managers and Technical Assistants by providing technical guidance, coaching, and best practices in client service and account.
