Shape customer-centered solutions at Dematic through service estimating, proposal development, and cross-functional collaboration across lifecycle and modernization projects. Approximately 20% travel may be required.

As a Solution Development Engineer, you will assess customer needs and define requirements for Lifecycle Solutions and Services contracts and Modernizations & Upgrades. You will work with Sales, Operations, engineering teams, and subject matter experts to develop accurate, competitive proposals. The work includes automated material handling systems, controls, software, scopes, staffing assumptions, and costing.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop service contract and modernization solutions
- Review customer specifications, site information, and operational requirements
- Build scopes, application designs, cost estimates, and costing workbooks




- Coordinate proposal inputs, schedules, completion dates, and status reporting
- Facilitate approved-scope handoffs to Operations after award

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree preferred in supply chain, engineering, business, or related field
- Typically three to five years of related experience
- Knowledge of material handling, controls, software, and service offerings
- Robust leadership, communication, organization, and stakeholder-management skills
- Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and PivotTables proficiency
