Provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care at Brant Community Healthcare System in Brantford or Paris, Ontario. Apply surgical experience, IV certification, and BCLS knowledge.

Reporting to the Manager, Operating Room, PACU and Day Surgery, the Registered Practical Nurse supports the perioperative program. BCHS operates Brantford General, an acute care hospital, and The Willett, an urgent care centre with transitional beds. The position requires patient-focused nursing, sound assessment, and coordinated care.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide comprehensive nursing care within the perioperative program
- Assess patients and contribute to care planning
- Work independently and with inter-skilled team members
- Apply critical thinking in changing clinical circumstances
- Support colleagues and students through coaching and mentorship

Requirements:

- Graduate of an accredited college nursing program
- Registered and in good standing with College of Nurses of Ontario
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
- Two years of surgical or day surgery experience
- Current IV Certification
