Emergency nursing expertise comes to WRHN @ Midtown, where Registered Nurses assess adult and pediatric patients within a multidisciplinary team.

This temporary part time Registered Nurse position continues approximately until July 23, 2027. The Emergency Department requires current nursing experience, emergency or critical care experience, and competency in intravenous therapy. Nurses contribute to a protected environment for patients, staff, and visitors while functioning interdependently with the multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assess adult and pediatric patients requiring Emergency Department care
- Function interdependently with multidisciplinary team members
- Manage patients receiving intravenous therapy




- Interpret basic cardiac rhythms and initiate IV therapy
- Support a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors

Requirements:

- Current College of Nurses of Ontario Certificate of Competence
- Required BCLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Minimum one year current nursing experience
- Emergency or critical care experience with demonstrated competencies
- Competency in advanced IV medications, defibrillation, and transthoracic pacing
