Prairie Mobile Communications seeks an experienced 12-volt equipment technician for an installation position requiring minimal training. You will use mechanical knowledge, communication skills, and organization to support voice, data, and security video systems. The work supports public safety services, including the Calgary Fire Department, through quality vehicle installations, repairs, and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Install specialized equipment in a variety of vehicles
- Repair and maintain vehicle communication and security equipment




- Provide quality workmanship on customer projects
- Work independently or as part of a team
- Travel to customer sites when required

Requirements:

- Two years’ experience in a similar role preferred
- Mechanical aptitude with hand and small power tools
- Valid Class 5 Full Non GDL driver’s license
- Acceptable driver’s abstract and reliable personal vehicle
- Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance
