Use OHS expertise and CRSP credentials as a Safety Advisor and Trainer with SPI Health & Safety in Burnaby, British Columbia.

This position spends 90% of its time advising and 10% training. You will consult with clients, support workers’ health and safety, and provide expertise across lockout/tagout, confined spaces, fall protection, and respiratory protection.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct customer-site safety audits and hazard assessments
- Perform risk assessments and apply safe work procedures
- Advise internal teams and external clients on health and safety
- Deliver customer training at SPI or client premises
- Travel by car or plane to customer sites

Requirements:

- Canadian Registered Safety Skilled designation required
- Diploma or certificate in occupational health and safety
- Five or more years as a Health and Safety Advisor
- Health and safety trainer experience is an asset
- Experience with heights, confined spaces, and lockout/tagout
