Job Overview

Westridge Security Ltd. is seeking professional, reliable, and safety-conscious Mobile Patrol Officers to join our team in permanent, full-time positions.

We have opportunities across the following shift schedules:

- Afternoon: 1500–2300 (3:00 PM–11:00 PM)
- Overnight: 2300–0700 (11:00 PM–7:00 AM)
- Overnight: 2230–0630 (10:30 PM–6:30 AM)

Our preferred candidates are flexible and willing to work all three shift times as operational needs require. Applicants who can accommodate a rotating schedule and provide reliable coverage across these hours will be given preference. Priority will be given to candidates that live in Maple Ridge, have mobile experience and have experience using TrackTik software.

As a Mobile Patrol Officer, you will help protect client properties, respond to alarms and security concerns, conduct scheduled patrols, and maintain a professional security presence throughout your assigned area.

We are looking for individuals who take pride in their work, demonstrate sound judgment, and understand the importance of reliability, accountability, and client service. Candidates with previous mobile patrol and supervisory experience are particularly encouraged to apply.

Please note call vehicles are equipped with cameras looking at the road and driver. This is for safety purposes and we would like candidates to understand in advance that driving habits will be monitored and addressed if violating seat belt laws, speeding, rolling stops or stop signs, etc.

Successful applicants may be able to begin training or casual shifts immediately, depending on operational requirements, before transitioning into their permanent full-time position.

Responsibilities

- Conduct regular mobile patrols of assigned properties using company vehicles.
- Respond promptly and professionally to alarms, security incidents, and emergencies.




- Inspect properties for unauthorized access, suspicious activity, safety hazards, and signs of damage or vandalism.
- Complete accurate patrol logs, incident reports, and other required documentation using TrackTik.
- Monitor and report suspicious activity and take appropriate action in accordance with company procedures.
- Communicate professionally with clients, members of the public, and other security personnel.
- Maintain a visible and proactive security presence to deter theft, vandalism, and other unwanted activity.
- Follow established emergency response procedures and contact police or emergency services when required.
- Maintain company vehicles responsibly and comply with all driving and vehicle safety policies.
- Follow all company policies, post orders, and instructions from management and supervisors.

Shift Availability

The following permanent full-time shifts are available:

1500–2300

2300–0700

2230–0630

Preference will be given to candidates who are available and willing to work all three shift schedules, as flexibility is important to meeting our operational requirements. Please note that all vehicle have camera systems and your driving habits will be monitored.

Requirements

- TrackTik experience is ideal.
- Valid BC Security Worker License.
- Valid Class 5 driver's license.
- Clean driver's abstract.
- Previous mobile patrol security experience is preferred.
- Supervisory experience is an asset.




- Strong observational skills and the ability to identify and respond to security concerns.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and follow instructions.
- Ability to remain calm and professional during emergencies and challenging situations.
- Physically capable of conducting patrols and inspections as required.
- Reliable attendance, punctuality, and a professional approach to work.
- Willingness to follow company policies, including dash camera and vehicle safety requirements.

Employment Details

- Employment type: Permanent, full-time.
