Provide clinical leadership and person-centred nursing care as a Charge Nurse with Positive Shepherd – Seniors. Work regular weekdays, with flexibility for resident and family needs.

Under the Clinical Nurse Manager, this Charge Nurse supports residents, families, PSWs, and interdisciplinary partners in Assisted Living. The position combines holistic assessments, care planning, medication safety, emergency response, and continuous quality improvement. It also provides supervision, coaching, mentorship, and competency development for care teams.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide direct nursing care and clinical leadership
- Develop and update person-centred care plans
- Assess residents and respond to clinical emergencies




- Oversee medication administration and investigate medication incidents
- Coordinate care planning, family meetings, and case conferences

Requirements:

- Graduate of an accredited Bachelor of Science in Nursing program
- Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Minimum three years caring for older adults
- Minimum three years in community or healthcare settings
- Clinical leadership, assessment, and care planning experience
