Lead project controls for Aecon’s John Hart Dam seismic upgrade in Campbell River, using SAP and advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Work from the project site office.

This experienced Project Controls Specialist supports a major civil and hydroelectric infrastructure project on Vancouver Island. You will manage costs, forecasts, revenue, cash flows, budgets, payments, change orders, and reporting. The position contributes to project decisions involving cost and scheduling while supporting the Scheduler when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop project job costs, forecasts, revenue, and cash flows
- Maintain budgets and identify cost adjustments and revisions
- Support subcontractor and service agreement payments




- Prepare client payment applications and change order proposals
- Coordinate reports for internal and external stakeholders

Requirements:

- Approximately five to ten years’ relevant project controls experience
- Civil construction experience and related education or applicable experience
- Solid working knowledge of SAP
- Intermediate to expert Microsoft Excel proficiency
- Applied knowledge of Earned Value and cost control principles
