Key Responsibilities:

- Lead closure planning and reclamation activities across Ekati
- Review closure designs and audit regulatory compliance
- Assess stability of pits, dumps, dams, and infrastructure
- Support dewatering, water management, and regulatory submissions
- Coach technical staff and prepare leadership reports

Requirements:

- Engineering degree with closure planning and stability analysis exposure
- Professional Engineer designation in Northwest Territories or transfer eligibility
- At least 10 years of relevant mining experience
- Advanced Rocscience, GeoStudio, Deswik, and Maptek experience
- Valid Class 5 driver's licence and required safety certification
