Assess and treat acute neurology and neurosurgery inpatients as a Physiotherapist with IWK Health in Halifax, working daytime shifts.

Reporting to Rehabilitation Services, this permanent full-time Physiotherapist provides assessment, intervention, and follow-up. The position supports pediatric and acute care services through direct, consultative, and monitoring work. Collaboration, evidence-based practice, and Family Centred Care guide service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assess acute neurology and neurosurgery inpatients
- Provide interventions and follow-up as indicated
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and community members
- Educate patients, families, staff, and affiliated students
- Provide rotational weekend standby and callback coverage

Requirements:

- Graduate of a Canadian Physiotherapy Association approved program
- Nova Scotia physiotherapy practice license
- Minimum two years of clinical experience
- Current Basic Life Support certification or renewal challenge certificate
- Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
