As a senior Systems Engineering team member, you will lead complex optical and optoelectronic projects. Your work spans color science, calibration, metrology, root cause analysis, and product architecture. You will support next-generation IMAX technologies from concept through validation and commercialization support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead proof-of-concept testing and optoelectronic technology validation
- Develop IMAX color calibration systems and software tools
- Design metrology, alignment, and calibration methodologies
- Investigate field failures and system performance issues
- Present technical findings to engineering leadership and stakeholders
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in optoelectronics, optics, physics, or related discipline
- Five to seven years in product development, systems engineering, or research
- Solid mathematical and analytical skills
- Master's degree or Ph.D. considered an asset
- Experience modeling and predicting system performance
