Title: Security Guard Mobile Driver

Pay Rate: $22.50 / hour

Site Overview

As a Mobile Security Guard, you will serve as a responsive, visible presence across a variety of client properties throughout Kelowna. This dynamic role keeps you active and on the move, combining vehicle patrols with on-site inspections to maintain safety and security for local businesses and community spaces.

What You'll Be Doing

You will work independently to conduct patrols, secure property, and respond to real-time events across assigned routes. Your main responsibilities will include:

- Conducting scheduled and random mobile patrols using company vehicles.

- Responding promptly to alarms, emergency calls, and service requests.

- Performing thorough interior and exterior property inspections.

- Locking and unlocking designated buildings, doors, and gates.

- Identifying, documenting, and reporting safety hazards, maintenance issues, and security risks.

- Completing accurate, detailed incident and patrol reports.

- Maintaining regular communication with dispatchers, clients, and emergency services.

- Operating company vehicles safely and professionally at all times.

Must Haves

- Valid BC Security Licence.

- Valid Class 5 BC Driver's Licence with a clean driver's abstract.

- At least 1 year of security industry experience.

- Ability to pass a Criminal Record Check.

- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.

- Physical capacity to perform patrol duties, including walking, climbing stairs, and driving.

- Legal eligibility to work in Canada.

- Flexible availability to work various shifts, including overnight hours, weekends, and holidays.

Nice-to-Haves

- Familiarity with Kelowna street networks and surrounding areas.

- Prior experience in mobile patrol operations or alarm response.
