As sole CEO, the Executive & Artistic Director provides business and artistic leadership for this not-for-profit theatre company. The position defines mission, oversees programming, and advances strategic planning. It also guides marketing, communications, fund development, and facility management with the Senior Management Team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Articulate and advance Alberta Theatre Projects’ artistic vision
- Lead strategic planning with the Board and Senior Management Team
- Oversee producing models and program seasons
- Maintain transparent communication and reporting to the Board




- Represent the company with funders, government, unions, and media

Requirements:

- Experience leading a not-for-profit arts organization
- Understanding of artistic and operational requirements
- Experience with brand development and organizational processes
- Experience in team-oriented planning
- Ability to build stakeholder and producing-partner relationships
