Registered Nurses provide trauma-informed care for youth at Alberta Public Service Provincial Campus Based Care centres in Edmonton. Full time work supports complex needs.

This permanent Registered Nurse position serves youth ages 11 to 17 receiving child intervention services. You will plan nursing services, complete assessments, administer medications, coordinate health supports, and collaborate with multidisciplinary professionals. The work supports residential care across a 24/7 Provincial Campus Based Care setting.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan and implement nursing and health services
- Assess youth, administer medications, and evaluate treatments
- Coordinate medication training and preventative health measures
- Monitor trauma-informed environments and treatment progress




- Provide rotational after-hours medical consultation

Requirements:

- Degree in Nursing and one year related experience
- Registered with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta
- Good standing with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta
- Youth treatment or mental health experience preferred
- Experience with addictions or trauma-informed practice preferred

Support Alberta youth through nursing assessments, medication administration, trauma-informed practice, and coordinated health services at PCBC centres.
