The Assistant Country Occupational Health Manager supports the Country Occupational Health Manager while independently managing significant departmental components. You will guide multidisciplinary teams, oversee fitness-for-work and return-to-work processes, and partner with HR, Legal, SHE, and site leadership. The scope includes clinical medicine, compliance, vendors, and transformation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee fitness-for-work, return-to-work, and accommodation case reviews
- Quality-assure WCB claims and recordability determinations
- Lead occupational health nurses and case management advisors




- Monitor Canadian regulatory compliance and performance indicators
- Manage surveillance programs, vendors, budgets, and improvement initiatives

Requirements:

- Post-graduate Occupational Medicine or Public Health qualifications
- FRCPC, CCBOM, FCBOM, or equivalent certification
- Two to five years of supervisory or management experience
- Current clinical licensure in relevant operating jurisdictions
- Familiarity with occupational health surveillance standards
